Monday, October 3rd – Entrance Ceremony for 2nd batch of TMGH students

On October 3rd, the Entrance Ceremony was held in honor of the 2nd batch of students attending the School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health.

This year, we welcomed 5 students to our Tropical Medicine course (MTM), 16 students to our International Health Development course (MPH), and 8 students to our Health Innovation course (MSc) for a total of 29 newly enrolled students.

Following the morning’s Entrance Ceremony, the new students enjoyed lunch prepared by the School while getting to know each other and conversing with some of the faculty members. They were able to relax after a nervous Entrance Ceremony and enjoy conversations in the informal setting.

An orientation was held in the afternoon which introduced the new students to various aspects of the School including a campus tour. Even though many of them felt tired by the end of the busy day, we were able to finish the first day of the school year with a smile.
